Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 28thNov, 2021 said India is leading the world in the technological field with more than 70 start-ups having crossed the valuation of USD 1 billion. Even before this India has proven that it can show the direction to World in various fields. With this notion, Vishwa Pragami Trust emerged to contribute towards building the nation of India in a little way it can.

The organization was established in 2018 made humble beginnings impacting the lives of poor and needy.

Youth expressed that these awareness programs changed them to think Out of the Box, make use of their time wisely, keep their focus on educational and career development and move forward with the rejuvenated spirit. It helps them to choose the career path that they want to pursue and will be confidant of facing the world which is moving fast into digitization. Apart from this, the participants will be able to make informed decisions and there by avoid falling prey to any kind of deceptions. It helps them to not shy away from the peers who have digital knowledge. It also helped them to promote unity, harmony and peace in the society in which they are living and be exemplary citizens of the country.

The nationwide lockdown in 2020 and 2021 was a massive shock to the livelihoods and wage earnings of poor and informal sector workers families. As effect to this, post lockdown many left to jobless and struggling to get their daily food. In addition to Covid and Lockdown natural calamities like flood and locusts attack worsened their situation. Vishwa Pragami Trust stood with these poor and needy providing dry ration kits.

VPT determined to provide good quality ration items in good quantities sufficient for a four membered family to survive for a month. 140 families in and around Hyderabad (Telangana) were benefited through this relief measure.

Covid Prevention Kit

A deadly second wave of coronavirus infections has devastated India, leaving millions of people infected and putting stress on the country’s already overtaxed health care system. The major cities like Delhi, Hyderabad and Mumbai, hit hard at the beginning of the second wave.

To combat the potential threat of the third Covid pandemic, Vishwa Pragami Trust has conducted Covid Prevention and Vaccine Awareness Programs and distributed free preventive medical care kits to the needy people residing in different parts of the Telangana state (Hyderabad and combined Warangal), Mumbai Dharavi Slum (Maharashtra) and Delhi. A local doctor/ health worker(s) invited to bring awareness and then distributed the Covid preventive care kits during these programs.

Each Preventive Care Kit included 3 strips of Vencee-D (Vitamin C-Vitamin D3-Zinc), 25ml of Holy basil drops (Panch Tulasi), a sanitizer bottle of 500ml, a set of six 5-Layered N95 Masks, and a medicated Neem soap. Provided Covid Preventive Care Kits to 2,920 families.
